Blue Damselfly
This is a photo of a blue damselfly taken by my 12 year old son along an abandoned road near our neighbourhood in Saskatoon, SK. It was meant to be a birdwatching session, but ended up with an insect photo instead!

Image Processing Disclosure: Captured in RAW. Processed in ON1 Photo RAW using standard tonal, color, and sharpness corrections to accurately reflect the natural scene. Global exposure adjusted (-0.35) with contrast (+31) and black point (-77) mapping to manage backlight. White balance corrected to 5775 K to remove cast. Localized dynamic contrast, sharpening, and color editing were brushed exclusively onto the subject to preserve wing and eye detail without degrading the background bokeh. No pixels were added, removed, or manipulated via generative AI.Exif information:
