Bloom and Hedge
I was walking around my neighborhood with my Minolta xe-b shooting Kodak Ultramax 400 and I had noticed those yellow and red blooms my landlady had planted. I shot several pictures of those and went on my walk, as I was heading back it occurred to me to shoot a double exposure of the neighbor’s hedge and the very colorful bloom. I was very pleased with how the hedge creates a base, the bloom absolutely pops and the flower’s leaves have a ghostly quality.
Post processing notes:
My friend John scanned the film and may have done some basic things with the tiff files with Lightroom. I then edited the image using ON1, mostly dealing with tint, saturation, and vibrance.Exif information:
