Before Winter Arrives
We were driving through the Adirondacks looking for famous places to photograph when we drove past this scene. My friend and I took a glance at each other and without speaking a word, we knew what we were going to do. We turned our car around and started shooting.
Post processing notes:
I started editing images in 2000 when the first 3MB digital cameras became available. For my first 10 years of image editing, I dedicated my efforts to producing photorealistic images. After mastering those techniques, I decided that I wanted to produce "artistic" versions of images. I now use saturation, tones, some of my collection of over 2,000 textures, borders, blurs, etc. to create one-of-a-kind images. I used one of my large collection of cutouts, using ON1 Layers and added the canoe in the water. I also used ON1 to remove two large trees that were blocking a clear view of the lake and the canoe that I had placed in the lake.Exif information:
