Ash-throated Flycatcher with prey
Taken on a back road near Dufur, Oregon east of the Cascade mountains. It was 9:26 am on June 6 and the bird was taking insects to a nest hole to feed it’s brood. I used my Olympus OM1 camera with my 150-400 F4.5 lens fully zoomed out. This was during a Bird Alliance of Oregon field trip. This photo was a treat for us since my wife especially wished to see this bird on this trip. Thanks for looking and hope you liked it as that is really the point of taking pictures anyway.
Post processing notes:
I used ON1 with No Noise AI, Super Select AI with local adjustments for the bird, the stump and the background to make the bird the main focal point. I used Retouch to obscure a branch in the background. Then I used Tone and Color sliders, crop, resize and export to make the raw file into a JPEG.Exif information:
