Sunrise on America’s Mountain
It was a July 4th event at Pikes Peak, Colorado. While I was setting up camera equipment, I saw the two women with the American Flag. Pikes Peak inspired the poem and later song ‘America the Beautiful’ by Katharine Lee Bates after her visit to Pikes Peak in 1893, making Pikes Peak America’s Mountain.

Post Processing was done in On1 Photo Raw 2026. Some denoising and sharpening was used to clarify the photo. Adjustments to white balance and colors were done to bring out the red, white, and blue in the sky.Exif information:
