Mount Whitney from Lone Pine Valley
At the southern edge of Lone Pine, California, next to the the golf course sits a farm with a view of the spires of Mount Whitney, the tallest peak in the contiguous United States. On many days, the 14000+ foot mountain creates its own weather, and on this particular day, it was making clouds up top from the moisture in the air which added the gorgeous haze to objects in the distance.
