John F. Kennedy Assassination
This is the actual car President Kennedy was riding in when he was killed on November 22, 1963 in Dallas, Texas. It was a day I will never forget. I was stationed in Farmington, Minnesota but allowed to live at home. When I walked in the front door, my grandmother who lived with us, met me at the door and was inconsolable because “they had killed her president.” The car is housed in the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan complete with the glass roof that was not on it when the president was shot.
