Fighting For Independence
Perched in the foothills just below downtown Morrison, The Fort has overlooked the ever-changing skyline of Denver for 63 years. The Fort is a replica of Bent’s Fort and is part of a living history museum.
Post processing notes:
I wanted the final edit to reflect the somber mood of what fighting for independence was all about. The original photo is the canon and was taken with a Leica IV. I swapped out the sky for a more somber mood and then overlayed the American flag taken with my Sony MIV and adjusted opacity.Exif information:
