Empty, at White Sands National Park
We visited White Sands National Park in New Mexico in the fall, when it’s not busy. I looked back and saw all the empty lunch tables just waiting for someone to use them. With the white sand glowing like snow, it was a great photo get show the emptiness of the park in October.
Post processing notes:
I used ON1 Photo RAW 2026.4 to edit this photo. My goal was to preserve the natural colors of the photo, while bringing out the details of the ripples in the sand. My photo already had bit of a sun flare on it, so I used the ON1 sun flare filter to enhance what I had. I also added natural density and polarizing filters.Exif information:
