Cowboy In Modern America
We were driving into South Dakota and at one point all the traffic had to stop for a herd of cattle moving down the highway. There were a few cowboys on horseback herding them. It was quite the back up! I like the juxtaposition of of the modern highway with old time cowboy and cattle in this photo. I think it represents South Dakota.

I used ON1 Photo RAW 2026.4 to edit this photo. My goal was to keep have the dust stay visible in the air. When we saw it, the dust seemed to glow. I wanted the photo to show that, so I edited with that goal in mind.Exif information:
