Charleston Lady
This image was made in Charleston, SC. This lovely lady is a descendant of the Gullah people from Africa. They have maintained the craft of making “sweetgrass” baskets from their ancestors. I stopped by her booth on highway 17 outside Charleston, bough some pieces and she allowed me to take this shot.
