Tethered Shooting is a new feature in ON1 Photo RAW 2018.1 – coming soon. Get your photos to your computer instantly and apply import settings in a flash. Initial release will support Canon and Nikon with more manufacturers to be added in the near future.

it’s been more than 4 years now. are there any plans for more manufacturers? i’m a fuji shooter and would like to use on1 photo raw for tethered shooting.

TOTALLY!!! I have been faithful to this software on the basis they would support more cameras… no change at all with tethered shooting which I really need.

Are there any settings for my Canon R6 I need to make for tethered use?
I’ve tried my camera on 3 different computers (iMac, Macbook and Dell XPS) with On1 2023 and 2024 and the camera shows as connected to On1 in each case but I can only fore the shutter once and no image shows in ON1. I have to then disconnect the camera or switch off tethering and back on again before I can fire another shot. The images go to the camera card but not to the computer. Sometimes I also either an ‘unable to autofocus’ error or a general error to connect a camera even though it is connected! I have also purchased a new USB-C to USB-C tether cable and it made no difference.
I have tried tethering with the EOS Utilty and all seems OK.
Any suggestions, anyone?

Along with thousands of other on1 users, we need tethered shooting for Sony cameras. I use A6700 and A7C11. And we are patiently waiting for our cameras to be able to use Tethered shooting. Thank you.
When will the new NoNoise be added to our software, without having to download a separate NoNoise please.

I would like tethered shooting for the Sony A7r4 camera. The Sony A7r4 being a 61mp camera is ideally suited for studio work and deserves to be tethered. Other Sony cameras should be included too. Too bad for On1 Photo Raw, because I use Capture One software. A great disappointment, fix this ON1. June 2025
