Poppy and Bee
Oregon native sweat bee getting ready to leave a poppy after gathering pollen. Sweat bees are the underappreciated pollinators of the insect world.
Post processing notes:
ON1 was used to reduce noise (NoNoise AI) and add a bit sharpness (Tack Sharp AI) as well as tonal/color adjustments. I used the fill-black feature in local adjustments for the background to isolate the poppy and bee and simplify the photograph. Cropping to a square also helped the poppy stand out.Exif information:
