Taken 21st July 2025 in Hobart Tasmania. I had taken my new AyR5 Sony camera out for the first time and the lorikeet were feeding noisily in the Eucalyptus trees at the local riverbank. This cheeky one watched me for a couple of seconds and flew off to another tree. They are hyperactive, very fast and noisy when feeding.
