Feeding Time
Took my old DSLR Nikon out for a session since I haven’t used it in Years and this pair of Red-Winged Blackbirds kept following me. I spent about an hour taking pictures of them as they appeared to pose for me and hovering close. This is one of my favorite shots of the female. Settings: 300mm f/6.3 1/2000 ISO640 +1Exp
Post processing notes:
On1 PhotoRAW was used, I increased contrast on the background to give it some pop and then added a layer for the subject ,I then increased contrast, saturation, sharpness and detail then added one stop of brightness. The original was a 24MP RAW file that's been cropped to 15Mp.Exif information:
