Crabbing
Learning to use my new camera and lens in manual mode, I lay on the ground at the north end of Bowentown Park, New Zealand, on the shore overlooking the estuary. This Pied Stilt and a White-faced Heron were working the shoreline in front of me as the tide pushed them closer to my position. This was late morning with an overcast sky giving these soft shadows and reflection.

All developing of the raw file was performed in ON1 2026.4. Modest cropping, exposure, highlights, midtones, shadows, and blacks adjustments and a final de-noise with NoNoise AI.Exif information:
