Matt, I am a long time user of DxO and LR. I’m thinking of trying out this new RAW editor. I was happy to see some videos you made to help new users out. However, you talk and move around the program way to fast.
Maybe you’re trying to showcase the speed of the program. However, for someone trying to learn the program, a little slower would be beneficial.
    Best regards,
    Yervant

Matt, excellent collection of your series on the new RAW release. What would be very helpful is a description of your settings for the Wacom along with a rationale for your selections. Also, can you allocate different Wacom settings for the different modules or is that no longer an option now that the product is a single program?

Hey Adam. I’m one of those boring tablet users. I actually don’t use the tablet for anything but pressure sensitivity with the settings out of the box. I’ve tried using the little buttons you can program but I find myself forgetting them most of the time 🙂

Thanks for great content here! Very substantial material, more than a typical “preview.” I look forward to the entire course.

Where does OnOne RAW store all the edit information? If I look at a selection of raw files is the pick/star/colour setting stored in the raw file and available to other apps (eg light room). And then if I go into develop where does all this non destructive edit data get stored? I need to know so I can back it up!

    Matt,
Great overview. As a long time LR user the hardest part in switching completely would be the use of Browse instead of file management with LR. Secondly, you mentioned in passing that using the plug in for LR (in your example of PS for the pano) would be “clunky”. And, I noted the pano file returned into Browse was a DNG file. I recall from earlier preview videos that returning the RAW files from ON1 RAW into LR and back to ON1 wouldn’t preserve the ability to alter previous ON1 adjustments (essentially same as 10.5 and back). I’m curious what the “clunky” part would be and whether the “back and forth through LR” has changed in past few weeks. Excited about the new ON1 RAW and love the Previews, Inspirations, Short Clips, etc. I see a great future for ON1 model of tutorials, coaching, critiques and continued software development. Thanks,
    Steve

As usual, Matt, you do a great job. One small criticism: please, please do not use “simplistic” when you mean “simple.” Simple, in this case, means made to be easily understood or use. Simplistic means lacking detail or over-simplified. On1 and you are not simplistic, rather highly sophisticated in your simplicity. Your presentations are simple in that you take a subject that appears to be incomprehensible, break it down into logical steps, and make it accessible. This talent you have is rare and should be treasured. Thank you.
