The Eye of the Bison

While visiting my sister in rural, south-central Iowa this past April, we came upon this bison herd. The owner of the land allowed us to drive nearer , where I was able to take an unlimited amount of photos.
This patriarch of the herd watched us closely. I was able to photograph him with his eye caked with mud, post mud-bath!
