Sunrise over Iwo Jima
2am, searching for gig work, I found someone wanting photos of the Iwo Jima Memorial at sunrise. Sleepless, and before even confirming the shoot, i packed my gear, drove to the memorial, and proceeded to watch some documentaries about it in the parking lot prior to sunrise.

I originally edited these photos in on1 2023, it was my first hours in On1, as a month earlier i ended my relationship with Adobe products. I updated edits to this photo when On1 2026 was released, and love the performance of the software. I removed all the detail in the monument to create a silhouette, then used multiple effects like LUT (Resolute), depth lighting, textures, a light opacity Black & White, and color enhancer.Exif information:
