This was shot at The Wild Animal Sanctuary, Keenesburg, CO
This Sanctuary is over 40,000-acre refuge for more than 900 Lions, Tigers, Bears, Wolves and other rescued large carnivores.
There is a long walk way above the animals to reduce visitors impact and to improve photography.

It was high noon and very bright with little contrast with the Tiger and the grass. Brilliance AI made the difference. Brilliance AI is one of my first functions in my work flow. Works well for most images and great for this shot. The Nikon AF-S 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 VR paired with the Nikon D500 gave me the extra (cropped) reach to crop in for this composition.Exif information:
