Of Fog Sun and Pine
This was shot in Mammoth Lakes, California.
After shooting that morning at the Minaret Vista Overlook we came
across these Ponderosa Pines with the Sun backing lighting the Fog and Pine trees.
There was a parking lot directly across the street providing the perfect access for this shot.

Post processing notes:
I used a simple grayscale adjustment to convert to b&w then boost the highlights slightly to add to the glow effect. The strong contrast of the original shot made the b&w conversion work perfectly thanks to On1 Raw 2026Exif information:
