Leopard after the hunt!
This leopard was captured around lunchtime in Kruger National Park, South Africa. Precisely, around 11:00 a.m. on August 24, 2025. A wonderful day of tracking the animal and then watching it hunt an impala, where it carried it up a tree and ate it. A magnificent creature, my latest “BIG FIVE.” Satisfied and very excited.
Post processing notes:
Post-processing was pretty simple. I used ON1 Photo RAW 2026. I developed it with some basic adjustments, denoising and sharpening to remove the haze and avoid ruining the pixels. On local, I used a background mask. On sun flare effects, vignetting, a photo filter, and curves. Everything was very light... for that extra touch.Exif information:
