Entombment of the Christ
The Church in our district is being restored. As a member of a project team to get photos during this process I took some interior shots there.
This is a lifesize group of carved figures, dated back at the 17th century. It is placed in the chapel next to the main hall of the church itself. The figures are stunningly life-like and you get deeply touched by the grief of the persons
Post processing notes:
The picture was toned as to match closely to the extraordinary light situation that day. I cropped it and straightend it . Futher local adjustments to correct colors and sharpness of the figures were made.Exif information:
