earth in it’s earliest days
In Fort Pontisse – a fortress of the defence ring of Liège during WW I – I saw this formation stalagmites and it looked like an image from the earliest days of planet earth’s existence. I felt the moon was missing, so I composed the final image by adding a shot from the moon I took in my backyard just days before….
Post processing notes:
I used ON1 Photo RAW layers to compose the picture, after doing basic editing on the stalagmites picture - darkening the background even more, pulling up contrast and some croppingExif information:
