Blast into the Heavens!
Photo was taken at the 2026 Wings over Meridian Airshow. The F-35 had just made a low pass before going vertical. The low clouds give the appearance of the jet launching into the heavens. The clouds also accentuate the heat exhaust from the engines. Making the photo black and white but leaving the color in the engines gives the photo sound.
