The Perfect Eraser can be used to remove distracting elements and blemishes from your image. It uses a content-aware algorithm that replaces the pixels with a natural-looking result within the boundaries that are painted. Using the tool is easy: click on it in the Fix group’s Tool Options bar, and paint over the area you wish to remove. Make sure you cover the entire area. A red overlay appears where you paint. If the first attempt does not give you a perfect result, simply paint over it again and it will improve with each pass.

how to correct perfect eraser stuff? used it to remove dust, but some spots were misinterpreted as dust and removed or blurred. can’t find any setting how to undo or reset perfect eraser and don’t want to reset all settings and start editing from scratch.

Great support here! NOT!!!
After months no reply, nothing but deafening silence.
I have meanwhile drawn my conclusion from this kind of anti-customer service, abandoned ON1 Photo RAW entirely and migrated to another software, which I am not going to mention by name here so as not to be accused of advertising a competitive product. I can only assure you that it is much more than just “competitive.”
