Wistful
This photo was taken in 2022 at the Goodwood Revival, a motor racing event held annually at the famous Goodwood motor circuit. It celebrates the vintage years of racing from the 1940s through to the 1960s.
This photo of a marshal was taken just after the death of Queen Elizabeth II and all the staff and marshals wore black armbands.
It’s impossible to tell what was in the young woman’s mind, but her wistful look speaks volumes.
Post processing notes:
Cropping plus basic adjustments to contrast and mid tones. Blacks & Whites tweaked. Vignette added. That's it. A very quick edit in ON1 but producing a result I'm happy with.Exif information:
