Water for the stork chicks
The photo was taken in 2021 in a small Polish village. There was a platform that allowed you to look into a stork’s nest. This gave me the opportunity to observe for several hours how the adult storks cared for their chicks. It was a very hot day, and the chicks were clearly thirsty. Witnessing what goes on in a stork’s nest from so close up was simply amazing.
Post processing notes:
I first applied Brilliant AI and No Noise AI, followed by cropping the image. Then, I made some local adjustments to the background and increased the contrast of the stork's eye. Finally, I enhanced the image using Dynamic Contrast, added Sunshine and sharpening to bring out the details in the birds, and completed the post-processing with the 'Big Softy' vignette.Exif information:
