Vienna Hercules and Monet
I’m on a guided walking tour of Vienna, which sounds great for the numerous photo opportunities available, however with a large tour party and limited time at each location it was a question of a quick snap here and there.
Hercules sculptures adorn the Royal Palace and together with the steps leading to the Albertina museum resulted in two ordinary photographs being blended into hopefully something more interesting.
Post processing notes:
The Hercules photograph edited using On1 Photo Raw and developed using On1 standard camera profile with white balance as shot. Manual adjustments to contrast, highlights and mid tones. For the Albertina Museum steps photograph, On1 camera profile for Portrait was used with manual adjustments to midtones, highlight and contrast. White balance as shot. Two people were removed using a combination of the perfect eraser and the clone tool. Effects used: HDR / Normal The steps were showing an unnatural colour tone so the Replace colour tool was used next, followed by Sunshine / Normal New layer added of Hercules, moved and sized to final position, with some parts of the photo erased to show the painted steps more clearly. A final colour enhancer effect was used on the blended photo.Exif information:
