Tulip Sunset
Every April the tulip fields in the Skagit Valley in the state of Washington are filled with color. I monitored this field and chose to shoot as the sun went down. I was lucky to get a sharp sun star as the sun disappeared. I took three images at different focal points to get a deep sharpness in the image.
Post processing notes:
I used ON1 Photo Raw in the original image and reprocessed it with ON1 Photo Raw 2025 blending three images to improve the sharpness in the full image. I used a variety of filters to improve color and sharpness in the image. There is minimal cropping and some removal of distracting things. I also used the Sunshine filter and the Vignette filter to create a little leading lines glow toward the sun star.Exif information:
