The river and the water mill
After several years thinking about taking a long exposure photo of an old water mill on the riverbank, I managed to make it happen after acquiring a neutral density filter and with the subsequent help of ON1 Photo Raw in the edition. After several tests, I opted for an F11 aperture and a 13-second exposure to achieve the silk effect I longed for.
Post processing notes:
I used On1 Photo Raw 2022 only for the development and subsequent processing. I remember that above all it was important to use light masks to highlight the silk effect in the water and focus the dynamic contrast only on the stone areas. I raised the green color a bit using the Color Enhancer filter to conclude with a little Glow to accentuate the feeling of daydreaming and a subtle Vignette.Exif information:
