Tepees At Sunset
This image was shot at the famous Pendleton Round Up Indian Village, in Pendleton, Oregon in 2008, at a much smaller size with an old digital camera. I think it was a Canon G6 or G9…? I hope you enjoy the image!
Post processing notes:
I've used ON1 Resize, Sky Masking, and Dynamic Contrast to bring out the features of the image. If you look closely at the foreground teepees, there are details, even in the darkest parts of the image, they were not available before the Dynamic Contrast filter. The Resize feature with the smoothing feature was a life saver too! Sky Masking was used to add the Milky Way. ON1 helped me realize the way I pictured them in my mind and the impact the image should have. It helped me resurrect an image I took 17 years ago...
