Sweet Nectar
While recovering from a leg injury and with very restricted mobility, I sat on a small stool to capture this image as I was unable to stoop or kneel. The small butterfly was fluttering from flower pot to flower pot, alighting for only a few seconds before moving on to the next bloom.
I was using my Canon EOS R coupled to an RF f2.8 100mm macro lens.
The location was some 50 km east of Bordeaux, France.
Camera used was a Canon EOS R with an RF 100mm macro lens. ISO 800 1/800 f13

Post processing notes:
I used ON1 Photo RAW 2025 to edit the RAW file and made adjustments to exposure, contrast and saturation. Some sharpening was applied. I made a local adjustment to the flower stem to increase brightness. peter.crees@mail.comExif information:
