Surrounded by King Penguins
This winter we made a trip to Antarctica, starting with an appetizer being a visit to Falkland Islands and South Georgia. The appetizer became the main dish, in South Georgia we ended up right in a national geographic documentary, what an experience we had in Salisbury Plains (South Georgia). We were in the middle of a King Penguin colony of more than 100.000 species, never thought we could experience that. It’s unfortunate I can’t share more photos because I made about 4000 photo’s of 7 different kind of penguins, 5 different kind of seals and on top of that lots of birds like petrels and albatrosses, oeps I almost forgot the humpback whales, fin whales and orcas… This trip was our seventh continent experience… it was by far the most beautiful trip we ever made. 🙂 🙂 🙂
