Skagafoss, Island
Thousands of photos have been taken of Skogafoss in Iceland and when I myself stood in front of the impressive waterfall one summer day in 2019, the weather was just too good. Full sun and blue sky did not offer me the drama I dreamed of for this magnificent scenario. All the photos were, as expected, boring postcards. For a few years I worked with Skogafoss in Photoshop without achieving the desired result – I could not hear the waterfall roar. On1 became my salvation! Not so long ago I discovered On1 and it made a difference – now Skogafoss roars, foams and steams like I have seen it in my dreams.
Post processing notes:
I used: Lokal ajustment to the waterfall and Effects as Black and White, Tone Enhancer, Red filter, Borders and Text. Moreover the person is moved from another photo and Rezied, to feel the grandeur of the scene. Finally, I have also used Sky Swap AI.
