Presences between form and absence
In 2023, under a still sky, two helicopters cut through the urban silence. The image dwells on the edge between presence and absence, between threat and indifference. It’s a mental space where geometry, stillness, and suspension build a silent yet meaningful narrative.

Post processing notes:
I used ON1 Photo Raw 2025 for the editing of this image. I first applied subtle global adjustments to tone and color. The image was then converted to black and white using the Effects panel, manually calibrating the various color tones to suit my personal taste. A mask was added to enhance detail in both the urban setting and the helicopters, and additional local adjustments were applied to refine the frame. Finally, the image was cropped and a light vignette was added, also using the Effects panel.Exif information:
