Pennsylvania Monument at Sunrise
Visiting Gettysburg National Battlefield, got up early one morning to do some sunrise photos. The clouds were just about perfect for this to get the different colors in the sky. This was not my main attraction this morning as I wanted just cannons, but I took this photo as I walked by on a whim. This was taken on a Sony A6100 with a 18-135 lens. Shutter speed at 1/30, ISO at 320, and aperture f9
Post processing notes:
I only use ON1 RAW for editing my photos. I took the raw image and ran it through the normal tone and color tab in Develop. I always do the lens correction also. Then I went to the Effects area and selected Color Enhancer. Chose the SKY style to get the colors in the sky to pop a little. Then I chose the Tone Enhancer, masked the monument and foreground out, and edited the sky some more. Then I took the mask I created, reversed it to mask out the sky to do the Tone Enhancer on the monument and foreground. I then took that mask into HDR to give more detail to the monument, cannons and foreground.Exif information:
