PELICAN FLIGHT
It was mid February just after sunrise, I decided to explore one of the local ponds in my neighborhood. I took my Pentax K-r and headed off. As I arrived I found a Pod of Pelicans seemingly asleep on the bank, almost 76 by my count. One by one they began to stir. Some decided to swim off others took to the air. This photo was snapped as he the bird cleared the water.

I used On1 Photo Raw to crop and sharpen my 5.3 MP file and Tone Enhancer to bring the subject forward with the Super Mask Tool.Exif information:
