Only 4 drops
This picture of a water sculpture consists of only 4 drops of water, that are falling in certain fractions of a second one after the other onto a water surface. They generate this sculpture that exists only for a fraction of a second. Our eyes are not fast enough to see the sculpture. To take this picture a flash had to be used in order to achieve a very very short exposure time.
To achieve the correct time intervals I used Miops Waterdrop Kit.
The water in the Waterdrop Kit was coloured red, while the water of the water surface was coloured blue.
Post processing notes:
To edit the photo I used the edit mode and there tone and color, contrast, depth and saturation. Then I used the crop tool to adjust the size and the angle tool to align the image horizontally. To remove some tiny droplets I used the correction brush. Finally, I used the dynamic contrast in the surreal strength under effects.Exif information:
