Post processing notes:

I used ON1 Photo Raw. I always shoot in RAW to 'play' with the image. I am a great believer in NOT going for a silver bullet one click improvement approach. ON1 Phot RAW offers the best and easier Luminosity Mask and I use these LMs in almost everything I do - specifically Dynamic Contrast, Shaperening (Progressive, never any other type) and photo filters. By creating an incredibly intricate LM, one that could never be achieved with a brush, you dail up Dynamic Contrast to Surreal - as it is only affects a very small portion of the pixels. Similarly adding some warm to highlights is a delight using LMs.
