We took a trip with Abercrombie & Kent to Falklands Island, South Georgia Island and the Antarctica Peninsula December 22 2023 to January 6, 2024. The scenery, ambiance and wildlife were jaw-dropping. This was just a lucky moment in time on Penguin Island – mom feeding her baby… This picture gets an “awwww” from everyone who has seen it. (My response – “yes, lucky is better than smart”).
Post processing notes:
Blurred the surrounding bits of background penguin. Dynamic Contrast on the baby and a bit less on Mom. A bit of dynamic contrast on the frontal rocks, Adjusted tone slightly. Color Enhancer of the reds (guano!)Exif information:
