Kilimanjaro Evening
June 2023 on Safari in Kenya (Amboseli). Kilimanjaro had not been playing ball and had been shrouded in cloud until the evening when as the locals say – the old lady lifted her skirt – and we could see the mountain behind the elephants. Being in the right place at the right time is essential in wildlife photography.
Post processing notes:
ON1 2025 was used. The image originally included a full herd of elephants facing all over the place and some with their back to the camera. I used generative erase to fix that and to get rid of the birds on the ground. I then used brilliance AI and filters to add impact to the image. This left me with three elephant grouping that I wanted and all facing the camera.Exif information:
