Honey bee on coneflower
During my holiday to France I visited the Jardin des Fontaines Pétrifiantes and made numerous photos of flowers, insects, plants and waterfalls. This one is the best of that afternoon, mainly because of the matching colors of the honey bee and the coneflower. Using limited depth of field isolated the flower nicely and the sun give the overall photo a nice bright tone.
Post processing notes:
I only use On1 PhotoRAW for my post processing, both for ordering, culling and sorting the photos. For this image the post processing exists of at least cropping, brighten the colors and increasing the contrast. Mostly I start with the Brilliance AI or, if needed, with the Noise and Sharpening AI tools. From there I either uses Presets or directly modify the Tone & Color until I'm satisfied.Exif information:
