Fish market in M’Bour / Senegal
This photo was taken ten years ago in June 2015 at the central fish market of M’Bour, a city in the center-west of Senegal. It is well known as a center of the local fishing industry, as you can imagine from this market scene.
Post processing notes:
The original .on1 file with all the masks, adjustments and effects in it is not being recognized by the RAW file anymore. So, for this contest I had to continue with the JPG file I had exported at that time. I did a review with ON1 Photo RAW 2025.2. I let Brilliance AI do its job on an amount of 50 percent. I reduced the vibrance a touch and applied a local adjustment to darken the upper seaside part a bit. I still like the tilt shift effect I applied back in 2015. I finished with a subtle vignette (protecting the shadows at 50 percent) and used NoNoise AI.Exif information:
