I was taking pictures of Croc (the name of the dog in the photo). The colors in the forest were beautiful, and the setting sun at the end of the day added to the luminous ambience. I saw this big branch across the path. I got a little ahead on the road and then called Croc to run towards me. He leapt up to jump the branch and I took the photo.
Post processing notes:
First, I cropped the photo so that the dog was centered. I cleaned up a few small disruptive elements in the photo with the “perfect eraser” tool. I then switched to the general settings in the “Tone & Color” panel. In particular, I accentuated the warm side of the white balance. Then I used 3 effects. 2 “Color Adjustment” tools (locally on the dog and on the rest of the photo) + 1 “Dynamic Contrast” tool on the dog.
