I took this photo in July 2024 during a medieval event in my village.
There were groups of dancers there, and I had the opportunity to voluntarily host this young man at my home for two nights. His name is Dylan.
The challenge of the photo was to eliminate the presence of a multitude of spectators around the dancer, who took away all the charm of the photo…
The charming side and the devastating smile of the young man who recognized me did the rest!

To retouch this image, I used ON1 Photo Raw 2025.2 with the following main steps: - Selecting the subject with Super Select AI - Inverting the selection to remove all the spectators around it, replacing them with black - Subject selection with Super Select AI and clothing retouching with Tone and Colors, saturation adjustment, and structure Face retouching: - Dynamic contrast application - Slightly brightening the tooth color - Radial gradient application to the eyes - Pupil selection and slight structure enhancement to enhance the brightness of the eyesExif information:
