Eileen at Rest
This was taken 2011. I arranged a photo-shoot with a friend – the first shoot I had done in 40 years! We went out into the woods near my house and I began shooting. She is a Pilates instructor so I shot a number of her in various Pilates poses. After we had finished we chilled out and I noticed her relaxing on a nearby rock – this was Massachusetts in early March. I grabbed my camera and took a couple of images.
Back home I began processing the images and was generally happy but I was struck by the last I took. I did some basic post-processing and trimmed and re-framed the image.
Taken on a FujiFilm FinePix S602. ISO 200 1/640 f/2.8.
Post processing notes:
Being March the lighting had been quite cold and the image was a little "blue". I made some color adjustments to warm the image and also changed her bright blue top to a darker shade to give more emphasis to the now glowing skin. I adjusted the contrast to soften it somewhat. I also removed some small skin imperfections to give a smoother flow to the image. Eileen was very happy with the result and a large print is now in her living room. I used the version of ON1 that was around in 2011.Exif information:
