Eastern Veil Nebula
Taken from my back garden in Craigavon, Co Armagh over the course of 3 nights in May 2025 using my Seestar S50 telescope. This is a stack of just under 2,000 frames taken at a mix of 10, 20 and 30 second exposures.
Post processing notes:
Stacking and stretching all the frames needs to be done in external software, I used Siril, as the files are FIT files. Converted to 16 bit TIFF and exported to ON1 Photo Raw 2025 the rest of the processing included AI noise reduction and sharpening, then tweaking the usual contrast, blacks, saturation etc.
