Dancing Under The Stars
August 2024 Went with a group of friends to Dunraven Bay, South Wales to capture milkyway core. The beach was busy with many people wandering around with lights and I was very disappointed, until I saw one image with a couple that looked like they were dancing. This image is a composite of the couple and the milky way core when most people had left.
Taken with Pentax k1ii, Irix 15mm prime. iso 500, 30s, f2.8
Post processing notes:
Composite of milky way core and a couple walking on beach, taken on same date and place. Processing: Two images merged in on1 2024, separate adjustments to sky and FG then image flattened. Cropped, sky selected and exposure increased, toned down highlights of people in foreground, enhanced blues for the sky, curves adjustments to bring up shadow detail in rocks and darker areas of milky way, cloned out lights in dark area of rocks on left.Exif information:
