Bighorn sheep remix
The original photo was take at the Colorado National Monument on Oct 19, 2021. I was driving down the road when I saw a group of bighorn sheep ewes running the opposite direction. I grabbed my camera and fired off a couple of shots hoping they would come out. As it turns out the originals were pure trash, blurred, overexposed and should have been deleted. As I looked at them I thought there might be some value due to the sensation of motion. I decided to try as many effects in ON1 to see what I could come up with. I think the final invokes the feel of rock art similar to the many petroglyphs present in the area.
Post processing notes:
First thing I did was to sharpen the image and create a black and white image. then created a negative image. I replaced the color to give a reddish tone to the scene, added two texture effects (cracked earth and cracked paint), and adjusted the curve. One problem was that the head of the sheep on the left was partially cut off in the original image. To fix that I cloned part of the head of the sheep on the right and merged it in to complete the one on the left.Exif information:
